Mandrakes (Also known as Mandagora)
Mandrakes can turn anyone who has been petrified back to their original state. An adult mandrakes cry causes instant death to anyone who hears it. That is why it is best to re-pott it when it is young. When a mandrake is young it's cry can nearly knock you out or several hours.
Aconite
Also known as wolfsbane or monkshood. Extremely poisonous plant (hence the name wolfsbane). The name monkshood comes from the shape of the flowers
What is herbology?
I know this should have been in my first lesson but I didn't know the final exams would come so soon, so herbology is- Herbology is the study of magical plants and fungi, including their care and their magical properties and uses. Some magical plants form important ingredients in potions, others have magical effects in their own right.
Read it, learn it. This will be on your final exam!
